Mint Hill was Mecklenburg County’s first town, established more than a decade before Charlotte was recognized in 1768. It remains a town steeped in history and beloved for its small-town values.
Once an isolated hamlet in eastern Mecklenburg horse country, Mint Hill has grown into a prominent suburb with plenty to offer on its own.
I-485 offers Mint Hill residents convenient access to the rest of the Charlotte region, but the town now boasts enough amenities that you don’t necessarily need to get on the highway.
Home values are buoyed by Mint Hill’s high-quality public and charter school options, and Town Hall has poured considerable resources into building out this all-American town’s Main Street.
